SUNSHINE PROGRAMS

Our Sunshine programs are 6 weeks in length and aim to provide each child with an immersive experience at our educational farm. Each week, children will experience a different aspect of life at the farm, observe growth and changes in our fields, and connect with the natural world. 

Sunshine Experiential Learning Topics: 

  • soil & compost

  • planting seeds

  • plant care (watering, potting, & weeding)

  • harvesting (and eating!)

  • seed collection & early botany

  • pollinators & honey 

  • art projects

Young Farmers

Each week, young farmers will work with Education Staff alongside Farm Staff to experience what it takes to work on an organic urban farm. Seasonally appropriate activities include seeding, composting, weeding, harvesting and seed saving and more!

Participation is limited. Pre-registration is required.
