Crossroads Farm is seeking volunteers for a variety of tasks that need to be accomplished at the farm each season. Beyond farming, we have opportunities in technical maintenance, social media, data entry, and more. Please see our volunteer page for more information.
About Crossroads Farm
The farm, approximately four acres of prime vegetable growing land, is the last farm on the south shore of Nassau County, Long Island. It was bought by Nassau County on the Open Space referendum and is managed by Nassau Land Trust, a private, non-profit organization. Crossroads Farm is beginning its ninth season as a NOFA-NY certified Organic and has a robust volunteer group as well as an active education program. There is a seasonal retail market, a CSA coupon program and extensive growing for local food banks and other market streams.
