This has been a fantastic year at Crossroads Farm!
We are very thankful for your generosity over the year! The farm wouldn’t be successful without the help and support of patrons, sponsors, donors and volunteers like you. We are also grateful for support from many public officials, especially Mayor Patricia McDonald and all of the trustees of the Village of Malverne. Thanks as well to the Malverne Police, Fire and DPW departments whose members are always there for us!
As our activities, events and crop production continue to grow, we are increasingly aware that the need for proper bathroom and kitchen facilities is vital. In 2015, we held a number of events and educational activities to bring our local community together to enjoy all the farm has to offer.
And as I am sure you know, if you enjoyed time at the farm at one of our events or even volunteering for field work, using the portable toilets was not so much fun. Won't you help with our campaign to build proper bathroom facilities at Crossroads Farm?
We would greatly appreciate any donations you can provide to support funding of this building project!
Help Us Build!
This building can happen with your help and support! Our architectural plans have been drawn up. We have the location plotted. We have the will -- and of course, we have a pressing need to get this project underway! This building will be more than just a set of restrooms -- it will include a warming kitchen which means the events everyone enjoys at the farm will be greatly enhanced. Think of how this will enable us to handle on-site, professional food handling and preparation. Think of how visitors of all kinds -- school children, volunteers, hard-working farm staff -- will enjoy the facility year round.
This building is the foundation for our future growth. We hope to build in 2016, and then move on to the next phase of our strategic plan for growth. We envision an education center offering year-round space for student class rooms, adult education events, research, and much more!
